Hello, I am Emma and I am an experienced, accredited Counsellor and Supervisor. I work with an Integrative approach, which means I use several counselling models and approaches, and theories in my work.

I love being outside and know very well the benefits of getting a breath of fresh air. Being able to offer Walk-and-talk sessions is important to me. I am happy to offer a blended approach of Walk and Talk, face-to-face, and online sessions.

Before counselling, I worked for the NHS for 26 years. I worked with many different service users and staff who found themselves in challenging and distressing circumstances.

I also spent 5 years working as a Counselling Tutor, and I continue to enjoy working with students in Supervision, and I offer individual and group supervision.

I have a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, bereavement, workplace stress, relationship issues, low self-confidence, OCD and Childhood Trauma.

I am sensitive to those who feel isolated, different and othered. I have high regard for confidentiality, professional integrity, empathy, compassion and unconditional positive regard. I work alongside you at your pace, together we explore what is bothering you, so you can find a new perspective, and move to a more comfortable way of being.
