Mindfully Present Counselling offers a range of therapies tailored to your individual needs.
Whether you are looking for ongoing support, a one-off focused session, or a gentle approach to healing past experiences, I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can explore what’s troubling you and move towards a more comfortable way of being.
Following an initial free consultation, I offer short-term (6 to 12 weeks) or open-ended counselling. I offer 1-hour sessions, which can be weekly and can also offer fortnightly, where appropriate. The sessions can be face-to-face in my own therapy room or via Video/Bilateral Base.
General Therapy
A safe space to explore, understand, and grow
General Therapy offers you a supportive, confidential space to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Working at your pace, we explore what’s troubling you, whether it’s anxiety, depression, bereavement, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, low self-confidence, or other personal challenges. Through an integrative approach, I draw on different counselling models to tailor the sessions to your unique needs. Together, we’ll work towards greater understanding, new perspectives, and a more balanced way of being.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Therapy in nature — moving body, freeing mind
Walk & Talk Therapy takes counselling outdoors into rural, urban, or coastal settings (within 10 miles of Canterbury, at no extra charge). Suitable for all fitness levels, these sessions combine the mood-enhancing benefits of movement and fresh air with the support of therapy. Some clients find a steady walk helps release pent-up feelings, while others prefer a gentle pace to settle and ground themselves in nature.
Walk & Talk Therapy can also fit neatly into your working day, offering a restorative break from the pressures of daily life. I also support blended sessions — so you can choose to walk and talk sometimes, and meet online or in the therapy room at other times.

Single Session Therapy (SST)
A focused approach for clarity and next steps
Single Session Therapy is designed for those times when you want support with a specific issue or concern, without committing to ongoing sessions. Using a solution-focused approach, we’ll work together to explore your concern, draw on your inner strengths, and identify the next steps forward.
£75 per session
Imagery Rescripting for Childhood Trauma
Healing the past, freeing the present
Imagery Rescripting is a research-proven technique for working with distressing or painful childhood experiences. In a safe, supportive environment, we revisit difficult memories and gently reshape them to create new, healthier narratives. This process helps to reduce the negative feelings carried into the present and can bring about deep emotional healing. This approach shares a similar neurological basis and outcomes to EMDR.
£60 per session
Concessions will be considered for all therapies on an individual basis
